The “Crape Myrtle Trails Run” is encouraging families of all ages to run or walk in the 5K fun run which is just over 3 miles.  The route begins in front of the Cooper Aerobics Center at Craig Ranch.  The route is a family friendly designed to promote wellness in all ages.  There are 32 age category winners; first, second and third place winners. There is also a 1 mile fun run & walk and each participant will receive a ribbon.

Funds from the race-event will benefit The Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney.  Once again this year, the organization will give back $5 of the registration fee to the PE Department at the specific elementary school where the runner registers.

The “Crape Myrtle Trails Run” encourages participation of all ages, especially school-aged children.  The 5K Fun Run and 1 Mile Family Run/Walk starts at 8 a.m. with onsite-registration beginning at 7 a.m.  For contact Susan Owens, Executive Director of The Crape Myrtle Trails, at 972-542-1550.
