Those of us involved with The Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, have special interest in promoting crape myrtles and in making McKinney “The best city it can possibly be.”
Crape myrtles are a long-proven part of southern horticultural heritage. They are quickly becoming a part of the legacy of the City of McKinney as well.
We hope our website and our Crape Myrtle Trails project will encourage you to visit McKinney (or, if you’re a resident, to join us in making our city even better). We also hope that it will encourage you to plant crape myrtles, and to choose the best types for your needs.
